The Quality Control Inspector will work in a machine shop environment inspecting fabricated and machined parts. Responsibilities include inspecting and testing parts for specifications and deviations, utilizing measuring instruments and complex testing equipment.

Supporting the entire operation, the inspector will collaborate with a team to complete inspections using current guidelines, aiming to expand and improve processes. Inspections involve various tools and visual assessments.

The inspector will work closely with management and machinists to ensure high-quality products and workmanship through dimensional and visual inspections both in the lab and on the shop floor. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

• At least three (3) years of experience as a Machinist/CNC Operator and/or in quality control within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with inspection tools: calipers, micrometers, gage pins, CMM equipment, etc.
• Self-starter with the ability to multitask and adapt quickly to production needs.
• Effective communication skills, organizational abilities, and problem-solving skills.
• Confidence in decision-making to uphold quality standards.
• Experience working in an ISO environment preferred.
• Attention to detail and data entry skills.
• Ability to read drawings and specifications.
• Ability to work well with others.
• Willingness to work overtime as required.
• Adherence to safety practices and policies.

Salary: $23 - $28 per hour
