Job summary

Saddle Creek Logistics Services in Belton, TX is seeking a Quality Control Associate on the 2nd shift to prioritize inspections and audits to ensure incoming product meets customer standards.

The role involves visual testing, process audits, recording results, handling off-spec material, and collaborating across teams. 1–2 years of data analytics experience and proficiency with MS Office or a WMS are preferred. Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds is required.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience with data analytics.
• Proficiency in reading specifications and drawings.
• Able to use standard measuring equipment.
• Capable of basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Visually inspect and/or test all materials shipped into the facility to determine if material meets specifications and standards.
• Audit processes to ensure quality standards and defect ranges are being met.
• Document audits and maintain records.
• Process off-specification material as directed.
• Inform Inbound Supervisor of major and critical defects found during inspections.
• Verify corrective actions are taken to resolve defects.
• Participate in location inventories.
