Job summary

Saddle Creek Logistics Services is seeking a Quality Control Associate for the 2nd shift (Mon Thu, 4:00 PM–2:30 AM) in Missouri. You will prioritize inspections, conduct quality audits, and ensure inbound product meets customer standards.

Proficiency with MS Office and warehouse systems is required. The role involves data analytics and collaboration across teams to maintain strict quality controls and accurate records.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Previous quality assurance role.
  • Able to read specifications and drawings.
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand throughout shift.
  • Proficient with standard measuring equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Visually inspect and test all materials shipped into the facility to determine if material meets specifications and standards.
  • Audit processes to ensure quality standards and defect ranges are being met.
  • Document audits and maintain appropriate records.
  • Process off-specification material as directed.
  • Inform Inbound Supervisor of major and critical defects found during inspections.
  • Participate in location inventories.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite programs, WMS, or related quality management systems.

2nd Shift: Monday - Thursday, 4:00PM - 2:30AM

The Quality Control Associate will prioritize inspections, quality audits and work needed to ensure the location Protocols and Standards are met. These audits will focus specifically on our inbound team to ensure all product received is to customer's standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Visually inspect and/or test all materials shipped into the facility to determine if material meets specifications and standards
  • Audit processes to ensure quality standards and defect ranges (panoplies) are being met.
  • Document audits and maintain appropriate records
  • Process off-specification material as directed
  • 1-2 years' experience with data analytics
  • Effectively work and communicate with others in the organization and customers
  • Inform Inbound Supervisor of major and critical defects found during inspections
  • Verifies corrective action is taken to resolve defects
  • Participate in location inventories
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite programs, WMS, or related quality management systems
  • Ability to develop and use collaborative relationships to accomplish work goals by listening, sharing ideas and appreciating others’ efforts.
KNOWLEDGE
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
  • Previous quality assurance role
  • Capable of basic math calculations
  • Able to read and interpret specifications and drawings
  • Able to use standard measuring equipment
  • General knowledge of computers
  • Able to lift, stand or walk constantly all shift as needed
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds and not allergic to latex gloves
