Job summary

MacKenzie-Childs is seeking a Warehouse Quality Inspector in Fulton, NY to sort and inspect incoming products from vendors, ensuring accuracy and proper packaging before they reach customers.

You will break down loads by SKU, palletize at 52 inches, verify against invoices and NetSuite images, and record inspection results. Some assembly tasks and heavy lifting are required in a warehouse setting.

Responsibilities

• 85%: breakdown and sort loads by SKU and palletize to 52-inch height.
• Inspect received goods using invoices and compare to NetSuite images (decoration, size, function).
• Record pass/fail quantities in NetSuite inspection queue on laptop or iPad.
• Move pallets to pickup location with pallet jacks; assist with assembly tasks as needed.

Position Summary

Sort and visually inspect incoming products from our vendors to make sure our customers get the best product MacKenzie-Childs has to offer.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

85% Breakdown and sort loads by SKU, making sure the counts are correct and palletize each SKU at 52‑inch height to be put into pallet racking. Inspect received goods by using the invoices for the shipment. Inspect product by opening cases/boxes paying attention to detail of how product is packaged. Visually compare product to the image in NetSuite comparing decoration, size, and function of pcs. Also counting Prep pallets by wrapping, placing header sheet, and transfer inventory via NetSuite. Then physically move pallets to pick up location via pallet jacks. 10% Working on Assembly jobs (Kitting napkin sets, putting pillows with furniture, or putting shades with lamps.) 5% Working on a laptop or an iPad by recording pass/fail quantities within NetSuite inspection queue.

This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.

Physical and Mental Requirements

• Ability to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, reach, push, pull, lift, use fingers, grasp, feel, and perform repetitive motions of hands or wrists.
• Exerts up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to move objects.
