Job Description

Enjet Aero machines and fabricates complex jet engine parts, components, and assemblies for leading OEMs in the commercial, defense, and general aviation sectors. Position Description: The Quality Inspector will perform final inspection, in-process, and first article inspections, evaluate parts to print specifications, understand inspection methods, and support manufacturing processes and personnel, while adhering to the Quality Policy and AS 9100 requirements.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Strong comprehension of blueprints and Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerance (GD&T)
• Proficient in using inspection tools such as micrometers, indicators, and comparators
• Detail-oriented with the ability to complete all required paperwork, including inspection reports
• Capable of making mold casts to check ID dimensions
• Ability to identify dimensional and visual defects
• High accuracy and attention to detail
• Experience with first article, in-process, and final inspections
• Strong knowledge of aerospace specifications, particularly Pratt and Whitney
• Perform other duties as required

Qualifications:

• Proficient in reading blueprints and understanding dimensional symbols
• Ability to identify visual defects
• Proficient in using measuring equipment such as micrometers, calipers, optical comparators, and CMMs (manual and DCC)
• Team-oriented with good organizational skills and attention to detail
• Adherence to document control procedures
• Experience with various inspection reports; Epicor experience is a plus
