Linden, NJ, East Windsor, NJ USA

Hourly Rate $20-30 per hour - plus OT - Depending on experience

Job Description

We are a 50-year-old well established designer & manufacturer of high precision electrical rotating machinery. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting a variety of super-precision metal parts using a variety of precision tools and gauges to exacting specifications.

To be considered, applicants must have experience with high precision machined metal parts.

Experience

• Working knowledge & understanding of materials & metallurgy
• Machine shop experience working with mills & lathes
• Ability and experience reading and/ or drafting manufacturing drawings
• Manage work load to meet due dates and foreman expectations
• Ability to use high-precision inspection and measurement instruments
  
  

Duties And Responsibilities

• Inspect parts to ensure precise conformance as specified by engineering print
• Maintain tools as required
• Maintain inspection logs and records

Education

• High-School Diploma or equivalent
• Advanced education or training in an electro-mechanical field
• 2-4 year Engineering or Technical degree highly desirable
