Job summary

Responsibilities

• Perform in-process, receiving and final quality inspections to ensure conformance to drawings and specifications.
• Lead and schedule one or more inspectors in daily workflow.
• Coordinate non-conforming material disposition with manufacturing and suppliers.
• Travel to local suppliers for in-process and final inspection audits when needed.
• Support QC Manager and facilitate third-party inspector visits.
• Prepare non-conformance reports and drive corrective actions.

This position is responsible for ensuring that good manufacturing practices and good documentation practices are maintained in manufacturing and the coordination of the non-conforming process. The QC Inspector shall provide direction and leadership to one or more inspectors in daily scheduling and performance of work.
