Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• At least 1 year of experience in a quality role, preferably in electronics.
• Intermediate English abilities required.
• Basic computer usage and typing skills.
• Experience with email/written communication and basic Excel.
• Ability to follow documented procedures and work under close supervision.
• Familiarity with continuous improvement methods preferred.

Responsibilities

Role and Responsibilities

• Performs visual mechanical inspection (VMI) of units, computer components and subcomponents


• Completes functional testing on repaired units, computer components and subcomponents


• Collects data and enters inspection results in database or software program


• Responsible for meeting ISO 9001 and/or other quality system requirements in their department


• May perform other duties as assigned

Skills, Education and Training

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred


• 1 year or more of experience in a quality role, preferably in an electronics environment


• Intermediate English abilities required


• Basic familiarity with computer use required


• Email and written messaging with basic Excel knowledge


• Must be able to work in a fast-paced team environment with close supervision


• Familiarity with continuous improvement methods preferred


• Ability to follow documented procedures and standards

Working Conditions and Essential Abilities & Functions

• Warehouse environment (may not be climate-controlled)


• Frequent standing, walking, sitting and twisting


• Occasional stooping, crouching, or crawling


• Frequent pushing/pulling up to 20 lbs.


• Occasional lifting/carrying up to 20 lbs.
