Job description

Summary of Position

The Quality Control Inspector is responsible for maintaining product quality. This role performs tests and inspects products, processes, and procedures at various stages of production to compile and evaluate statistical data to determine and maintain quality and reliability of products.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Support in-process inspection of all products.
  • Accurately record test data, using Epicor, Microsoft Office, and other computer programs.
  • Communicate and coordinate findings with Quality Management and Quality Engineering.
  • Understand customer expectations and needs from all products.
  • Prepare data for further analysis, as needed.
  • Attend meetings on the factory floor.
Qualifications
  • Associate degree in a technical field, plus two years of related experience in Quality Control, or a combination of relevant education, experience, and training.
  • Proven and successful track record in a similar role.
  • Experience with ISO 9001 or other standards (e.g., IATF 16949, ISO 17025, VDA) is highly desired.
  • Experience in Fire, Automotive, or Aerospace industry is a plus.
  • Quality certification, such as from ASQ, is advantageous.

Work Environment / Physical Demands

This job operates in a warehouse/manufacturing setting where hand tools and parts are used to assemble products, such as pliers, screwdrivers, box cutters, power tools, screws, and automatic tape dispensers.

This position must be able to lift 25 pounds at times and navigate all departments of the facilities.

  • Proven and successful track record working in a similar role.
  • PCB troubleshooting experience.
  • ISO 9001 or other standards experience (e.g., IATF 16949, ISO 17025, VDA).
  • Experience in Fire, Automotive, or Aerospace industry.
  • Associate degree in a technical field.
Employment Details

This is a full‑time, on‑site position at the manufacturing facility. The weekly hours are 40 per week, with possible overtime.
