1. Education & Experience: Associate or bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., ACI, AWS, or NICET) are often preferred. Prior experience in construction or engineering inspection is typically required.

2. Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of engineering drawings, construction materials, and testing procedures. Familiarity with relevant codes (e.g., ASTM, AASHTO, or local building codes).

3. Attention to Detail: Ability to identify non-conformances and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
