Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical discipline.
• 2+ years of quality-control, inspection, or manufacturing-quality experience in a precision machining, bearing, turbomachinery, repair, or similarly engineered-product environment.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, tolerances, and technical requirements; proficient with GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Carry out inspection of products for customer order releases, purchased part releases, and customer returned products.
• Perform or coordinate dimensional and visual inspections of fluid-film bearings, bearing components, seals, and related machined products.
• Develop or maintain inspection plans for receiving, in-process, final, and post-repair verification activities.
• Verify critical product characteristics such as dimensions, tolerances, fits, clearances, and surface condition.
• Support root-cause investigations and implement corrective actions.
