Job summary

Dover Precision Components in Houston, TX is hiring a Quality Control Engineer to support inspection of fluid-film bearings and sealing products throughout repair, reverse engineering, and manufacturing processes. You will read drawings, verify GD&T, develop inspection plans, manage nonconformances, and collaborate with Operations, Engineering, and Supply Chain to improve quality and reduce defects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field
• Or associate degree with significant relevant experience

Responsibilities

• Support QA and control activities for repair, replacement, and manufacture of bearings.
• Review drawings, specifications, tolerances, and ensure conformity.
• Develop or maintain inspection plans for receiving, in-process, final, and post-repair verification activities.
• Investigate nonconformances and support corrective actions.
• Maintain inspection records and support audits.
