Job summary

The ideal candidate has a engineering degree and at least three years in quality engineering, with strong statistical and auditing skills to improve processes and product releases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Quality, Industrial, or Mechanical preferred).
• Minimum 3 years in a Quality Engineering role.
• Experience with ISO 9001:2015 certification.
• Experience with product development and manufacturing release.
• Experience with assembly operations.
• Proficiency in statistical techniques and tools.
• Auditing and problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Ability to train and mentor others.
• Familiarity with spreadsheets, databases, and word processing software.

Responsibilities

• Develops training to build quality awareness throughout manufacturing.
• Provides leadership in internal auditing and ISO 9001:2015 documentation.
• Executes continuous improvement of Quality Auditor receiving/inspection and floor auditing.
• Monitors supplier quality performance metrics.
• Conducts supplier audits and issues recommendations and requests for corrective action.
• Assists Manufacturing Engineering in analyzing product non-conformance, customer, and internal complaints.
• Addresses non-conformance and root cause correction.
