Job summary

M.C. Dean, Inc. is seeking a Quality Control Engineer to implement and oversee quality programs, ensuring durable, compliant installations.

You will gather client quality requirements, develop project QC plans, coordinate inspections with subcontractors and third-party inspectors, and drive audits and reporting. Strong knowledge of ISO, CMMI, Lean Six Sigma, PMBOK, ITIL and the USACE/NAVFAC 3-Phase QC System is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience with a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management; Industrial/Systems Engineering preferred
• Background check must be passed
• Working knowledge of USACE/NAVFAC 3-Phase Quality Control System

Responsibilities

• Gather customer specific quality requirements and develop project-specific quality plans
• Create and maintain project QC plans and ensure alignment with external and MMC Quality Plans
• Conduct mutual understanding meetings with subcontractors
• Create and maintain QC tracking logs and QC checklists
• Verify submittal approvals and support design reviews
• Interface with client and subcontractor teams for issue resolution and audits
• Coordinate inspections and audits with third-party inspectors
• Document processes across ISO, CMMI, Agile, Lean Six Sigma, PMBOK and ITIL
