Job summary

M.C. Dean, Inc is seeking a Quality Control 2/3 Engineer to implement and manage the QC program across projects, ensuring compliance with safety policies and procedures.

The role involves developing QC plans, coordinating with clients and subcontractors, and driving continuous quality improvements. Responsibilities include conducting audits, maintaining QC documentation, and preparing reports for project and executive teams.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience with a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management; Industrial/Systems Engineering preferred.
• Must successfully pass a background check.
• Working knowledge of USACE/NAVFAC 3-Phase Quality Control System.
• Data collection, management, and analysis knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Gather customer specific quality requirements and develop project quality plans.
• Create and maintain project-specific QC plans and align External and MMC Quality Plans.
• Conduct meetings with subcontractors and maintain QC tracking logs.
• Coordinate inspections and audits with third-party inspectors.
• Document processes using ISO, CMMI, Agile, Lean Six Sigma, PMBOK, ITIL frameworks.
• Lead QA activities, audits, and process improvements.
• Prepare quality reports and project scorecards for leadership.
