Applied-Optoelectronics-Inc in Sugar Land, TX seeks a Quality Control Engineer to support the FAB2 launch and manufacturing of 800G optical transceivers for data-center applications. You will inspect products, implement QC systems, and analyze test data to drive corrective actions across engineering and production teams.

On-site role offering relocation support and the opportunity to work with advanced photonics and semiconductor technologies.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
• Experience with data analysis software and systems preferred.
• Knowledge of quality standards and production quality control.

Responsabilidades

• Inspecting and testing final products to meet quality standards and customer requirements.
• Developing and implementing quality control systems and testing procedures.
• Analyzing data from quality tests to identify trends and root causes.
• Ensuring compliance with industry standards and company policies.
• Maintaining detailed records of inspections and quality activities.
• Leading quality improvement projects to reduce defects.
• Providing guidance and training to production teams on quality objectives.
