AOI seeks a Network Test Engineer to test high-speed optical transceivers and work with cross-functional teams to debug and root-cause issues. The on-site role in Sugar Land, TX emphasizes interoperability testing from 400G to 1.6Tbps, installing network switches, and conducting link tests.

The candidate should have a degree in electrical or optical engineering with 3+ years in a lab setting, proficiency with Linux and Python, and Mandarin bilingualism; LabVIEW knowledge is preferred.

Formación

• 3+ years of experience in an engineering laboratory environment.
• Bachelor's degree in electrical or optical engineering (or Master's with relevant experience).
• Bilingual in Chinese (Mandarin) is required.

Responsabilidades

• Perform interoperability tests on high-speed optical transceivers (400G to 1.6Tbps).
• Install and maintain high-density network switches from various manufacturers.
• Set up and conduct optical transceiver communication link tests using network switches.
• Debug and troubleshoot link failures with cross-functional teams to identify root causes.
• Support production line for optical transceiver traffic testing on network switches.
• Generate reports for optical transceiver interoperability tests.
