Job summary

Zachary Piper Solutions seeks a Quality Control Dimensional Inspector to support the manufacturing and development of fuel solutions for advanced nuclear and small modular reactor programs in the Department of Energy sector. This on-site role is in Oak Ridge, TN.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or technical certification required.
• 5+ years of dimensional inspection experience.
• Hands-on CMM programming and inspection experience.
• Strong GD&T knowledge and ability to interpret drawings.
• Experience inspecting tight tolerances on precision components.

Responsibilities

• Perform dimensional inspections on tight-tolerance components.
• Program, set up, and operate CMMs to verify product compliance.
• Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T requirements.
• Develop and maintain quality control plans and inspection documentation.
• Support manufacturing and QA throughout production and development.
