Job summary

WesBanco Bank Inc. is seeking a Quality Control professional to ensure a safe, well-controlled operations environment. The role focuses on independent review of controls, transaction accuracy, and remediation of deficiencies while supporting automation and scalability under regulatory standards.

You will collaborate with leaders across the bank, maintain control documentation, and drive improvements in processes and data quality to strengthen the control environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; or equivalent combination of education and/or experience required.
• Minimum of three years experience in banking, preferably in operations.
• Leadership skills required.

Responsibilities

• Perform control testing and document results.
• Assist in maintaining SOX control documentation, risk assessments and other controls.
• Collaborate with process owners to understand control processes and identify areas for improvement.
• Prepare reports summarizing control effectiveness for management review.
• Support audit and regulatory examination activities with necessary documentation and explanations.
• Participate in control monitoring activities and track remediation efforts by the operations team.
• Assist in training and guiding team members on understanding, processing and managing workload.
