Job summary

Valmont Industries, Inc. is seeking a Quality Control coordinator responsible for coordinating and executing internal and external inspections, audits, and the creation and enforcement of QC procedures and specifications across the division.

You will collaborate with vendors, customers, and third‑party auditors to implement QA action plans and procedures. Essential duties include SPC data analysis, supporting continuous improvement, and ensuring compliance with customer requirements across

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or 5+ years QC experience required.
• 2 years of QC in steel fabrication.
• AWS CWI certification or ability to obtain within 2 years.
• ASNT‑TC‑1A Level II MT/UT or equivalent NDT knowledge.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and perform QC inspections and audits for internal and external stakeholders.
• Develop and enforce QC procedures and work instructions.
• Lead or support continuous improvement actions and task forces.
• Review orders for customer requirements and applicable documents.
