Hospital Central Services Cooperative, Inc. is seeking a Quality Control Clerk at our Kingston, PA facility to inspect linens and carts, ensuring they meet established standards. You will support quality improvement efforts and assist in-house HR tasks while handling daily quality control reporting.

The role starts at $19/hour and includes benefits. Schedule is 10am-6:30pm; requires a high school diploma or GED and up to 1 year of production experience. Lifting up to 50 lbs is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of production experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and quality control documentation.
• Ability to analyze quality trends and adjust data as needed.
• Effective teamwork and professional communication skills.
• Basic computer proficiency (Outlook, Teams) and data management.

Responsibilities

• Inspects linens according to established Laundry Quality Linen Standards and records deficiencies on quality control forms.
• Examines linen carts to verify correct quantities, proper packing, and overall neatness.
• Inspects sewing and condemned linen carts to ensure proper procedures are followed.
• Posts quality notifications on designated bulletin boards to keep employees informed of quality concerns and expectations.
• Completes and submits daily quality control reports and inspection records to management.
• Collaborates and provides backup support to human resources as needed.
• Communicates quality concerns and inspection findings to supervisors to support corrective actions and maintain quality standards.

What you will bring to the role:

• High school diploma or GED required; with 1 year of Production experience preferred.

• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and quality control documentation.

• Effective teamwork and professional communication skills.
• Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Outlook, Teams) and data management skills.

• Ability to carry up to 20lbs and lift up to 50lbs

Additional information:

This position reports to the General Manager and will be based out of our Kingston, PA location. They will be responsible for working the following schedule:

• The normal work schedule for this position is 10am-6:30pm
