Job summary
REC Silicon Inc is seeking a Quality Control Chemist in Butte, Montana to oversee analytical operations, ensure accurate data reporting, and support external audits. Qualifications
- AA degree in science with 2+ years chemistry and GC experience.
- Bachelor's degree in chemistry or chemical engineering is preferred.
- Experience with ICP-MS, GC and specialty gas handling in electronics industry is useful.
- Clean room experience is helpful.
- Ability to maintain and repair key lab equipment.
Responsibilities
- Operate ICP-MS or GC instruments and assist with maintenance.
- Analyze clean room samples and various specialty gases.
- Update analytical data and workflows in LIMS.
- Investigate Out-of-Specification (OOS) and Out-of-Control (OOC) situations and follow OCAP.
- Review and approve internal laboratory results for product release.
- Develop and optimize analytical methods and validation studies.
- Support audits by presenting laboratory quality control data.
