Job summary

Adecco is seeking a Quality Control Bench Inspector – Aerospace in Portland, CT on 1st shift (7am–3:30pm). You’ll inspect precision parts using visual and measurement tools and verify conformity to blueprints and certifications.

The role requires 2+ years in aerospace or similar precision industries, strong GD&T knowledge, Excel proficiency, and ability to read complex specifications. First Article Inspections and strict aerospace standards are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have 2+ years of inspection experience in aerospace, medical, or similar precision industry.
• Must have strong knowledge of GD&T.
• Must have: Comfortable with Excel and performing basic shop math.
• Must have: Ability to read, understand, and follow blueprints, specifications, and certifications.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Read blueprints, specs, and certifications to confirm compliance
• Perform detailed layouts and First Article Inspections (FAI) and Ensure every part meets strict aerospace quality standards

What You Need (Non-Negotiable)

• MUST HAVE 2+ years of inspection experience in aerospace, medical, or similar precision industry
• MUST HAVE Strong knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)
• MUST HAVE: Comfortable with Excel and performing basic shop math
• MUST HAVE: Ability to read, understand, and follow blueprints, specifications, and certifications

Bonus Skills

• Experience with Inspection Xpert or Net-Inspect
• Layout inspection experience
• Strong verbal and interpersonal skills

What You’ll Get:
