Job summary

Zoetis is seeking a Quality Control Associate to collaborate with team members to manage sample check-ins, prepare samples for shipment, and maintain documentation for USDA submissions and regulatory compliance.

The role includes preparing annual product reviews, managing Bio-Expiry, and ensuring cGMP standards are met in day-to-day QA activities.

Qualifications

• High school education or GED required.
• 3–5 years of related experience in a manufacturing environment and/or as a QC Coordinator Level I.

Responsibilities

• File, scan, and archive testing documentation.
• Support the QC labs by completing basic skill testing.

• Responsible for Bio-Expiry completion.
• Responsible for 20/20 sample destruction.
• Perform visual inspection of products.
• Generate Certificates of Approval (COA) for regulatory agencies.
• Revise specifications as necessary.
• Follow all Zoetis Quality Standards, Policies and Procedures.

Position Summary

The Quality Control Associate will work in collaboration with other associates to ensure coverage of the following responsibilities: check‑in of test samples from manufacturing to the QC Scientists, prepare samples for shipment, complete filing of testing documentation, and organize and distribute samples for each testing group. The role also prepares samples for USDA submission, monitors the BMS alarms, scans and archives test records, prepares Annual Product Reviews, completes Bio‑Expiry, supports 20‑08 preparation for submission to the USDA for final product release, maintains appropriate departmental cGMP documentation, and files, scans, and archives testing documentation.

Position Responsibilities

• Typically requires at least 3+ years of related experience

Education and Experience

High school education or GED required. Post‑high‑school education in the Sciences, Business, or other related disciplines preferred. 3–5 years of related experience in a manufacturing environment and/or as a QC Coordinator Level I.

Technical Skills Requirements

• Good mathematical, science, and computer skills
• Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration skills
• Strong communication skills
• Comprehensive LIMS knowledge and experience
• Understanding of 20‑08 template requirements
• Authorized Firm Sampler knowledge

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to walk, sit, or stand for long periods of time
• Must be able to reach above shoulder level, bend/stoop, kneel, push/pull, and handle/grip frequently
• Must be able to work scheduled 40 hours with the ability to work overtime as needed
• Frequent lifting and carrying of 5 to 25 lbs.
• Regular reaching, bending, stooping, and twisting
• Repetitive motion and substantial movement of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers
