Qualifications

• Minimum of an associate's degree in a science-related discipline, preferably Chemistry or Biology.
• Previous laboratory experience preferred.
• Ability to make decisions independently with little or no supervision.
• Proven communication (oral and written), organizational, math, and computer skills.
• Attention to details.

Responsibilities

• Perform analytical testing on routine samples and special projects as directed by management.
• Conduct calibrations and maintenance of laboratory equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment as needed and contribute to method/instrument development and validation.
• Prepare and standardize chemical solutions and media for the lab.
• Communicate results and issues with customers and production management.
