Job summary

Total Staffing Solutions is seeking a Quality Control Inspector in Carol Stream, IL to perform final inspection, read blueprints, and ensure parts meet tight tolerances. The role requires hands-on use of measuring tools and adherence to safety standards.

Qualifications

Job description

Quality Control Inspector

Location: Carol Stream, IL

Pay: $19 - $23/hr (based on experience)

Schedule: Mon – Thu: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM; Fri: 6:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect manufactured parts, with emphasis on final inspection
• Identify defects and tolerance deviations using work orders and drawings
• Perform internal calibration and maintain quality standards
• Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of QC or related experience
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills
• Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems
• Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, height gauges, PMI)
• Physical ability to lift small parts regularly (under 10 lbs.; occasional heavier lifting), frequent standing, bending, and movement; use of PPE (steel‑toe boots, safety glasses, hearing protection)

• Work collaboratively with QC Supervisor as needed
