Job summary

All-Rite Spring Company in Spring Grove, IL, is seeking a Quality Assurance Inspector to verify parts meet quality standards during production. You will inspect with micrometers, calipers, protractors and optical comparators, document results, and assist in training operators on measurement procedures.

Ideal candidates have QA experience, can read drawings, analyze problems, and communicate clearly; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspection procedures to ensure quality during production using calipers, micrometers, protractors and optical comparators
• Verify accuracy of SPC charts
• Assist in training operators on measuring equipment and SPC charting procedures
• Report problems to Production and Quality management to prevent defects
• Maintain accurate and organized documentation of inspections and audits

One first shift opening (7 am - 3:30 pm)

One second shift opening (3:30 pm - 12 am)

Job Description:

The Quality Assurance Inspector reports to the Quality Manager and plays a key role in verifying parts meet quality standards according to specifications by performing various inspections and audits during the production process. They document results in reports/logs as required. He/she works closely with the production and the quality teams and is a critical thinker, a good listener and is willing to adapt to the situation as needed. A team player.

Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Perform routine and repetitive inspection procedures to ensure quality levels during the production process utilizing a variety of measuring equipment including calipers, micrometers, protractors, & optical comparators
• Verify accuracy of SPC charts
• Help train operators to use measuring equipment accurately and on accurate SPC charting procedures as needed
• Report problems to Production and Quality management to prevent defects
• Keeps accurate and organized documentation of all inspections and audits performed
• Other tasks as needed

Must-Have
