Job summary

Batesville Tool and Die, Inc. in Batesville, IN, seeks a qualified leader to oversee the Quality and Hold departments, reporting to the Operations Manager and President.

You will supervise all employees, drive continuous improvement, and ensure compliance with quality systems. Responsibilities include leading problem solving, SPC, GD&T, and design of experiments; coordinating customer visits; and ensuring timely disposition of non-conforming parts.

Qualifications

• GED/HSE diploma required.
• Experience in quality/manufacturing environment with problem solving.
• Supervising and leading employees; computer use.

Responsibilities

• Follow up on all open items or projects.
• Investigate and correct internal problems with relevant department.
• Understand and apply basic gaging techniques.
• Participate in customer visits at client sites and internal facilities.
• Respond to customer needs promptly.
• Present information in an organized, professional manner.
• Stay updated on new equipment and technology.
• Develop/disseminate GD&T knowledge and procedures.
• Write and explain processes to others.
• Understand measurement tools (CMM, calipers, micrometers, etc.).
• Knowledge of GD&T and SPC concepts and control limits.
