Job summary

United Road is seeking a Quality Compliance Field Coordinator in Hammond, IN to monitor contractor compliance during vehicle loading and unloading. You will audit loads, enforce proper handling, and serve as a primary contact for drivers to resolve issues. Strong communication and organization are essential.

Experience with FMCSA/DOT regulations is a plus; travel to various customer sites may be required. This role emphasizes accuracy, safety, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced logistics

Qualifications

  • Must have strong oral and written communication skills and be able to interact professionally with drivers and customers.
  • Experience with audit processes, loading/unloading procedures, and DOT/FMCSA guidelines preferred.
  • Ability to organize multiple audits and respond to issues promptly with accuracy.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and audit all logistics service providers for contract compliance during loading/unloading.
  • Enforce proper loading/unloading protocols to ensure damage-free handling of vehicles.
  • Serve as liaison for car haulers to resolve customer issues during operations.
  • Complete standard audits of loads and report findings to Quality management.
  • Identify and communicate ongoing errors and opportunities for process improvement.

This role lives the Partnership pillar every day.Quality Compliance Field CoordinatorThe Quality Compliance Field Coordinator will monitor and audit all United Road Logistics Service Providers for customer and vendor contract compliance during the loading and unloading of trailers at customer and other sites as well as enforce proper protocols to ensure the damage-free handling and securement of our customer’s vehicles.
