Job summary

SourcePro Search, LLC is seeking an experienced Director of Quality Control / Quality Assurance to lead our QC/QA programs in a fast-paced, high-volume food manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate will be a Certified SQF Practitioner with a proven record of successful third-party, regulatory, and customer audits in both foodservice and retail segments. You will oversee HACCP, GMPs, SOPs, CAPAs, and partner with Operations, R&D, and Supply Chain to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science or Microbiology required.
• Certified SQF Practitioner required or equivalent certification.
• 10+ years QA/QC leadership experience in food manufacturing.
• Proven track record with audits (SQF, FDA, customer, third-party).
• Strong HACCP, GMPs, FSMA knowledge; experience with both foodservice and retail.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee all QC/QA activities across food manufacturing operations.
• Maintain and improve the SQF program as the designated SQF Practitioner.
• Lead all audit activities (SQF, FDA, customer, third-party) and resolve non-conformities.
• Implement and monitor HACCP plans, food safety systems, GMPs, SOPs.]
• Supervise and develop the QA/QC team and drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with Operations, R&D, and Supply Chain to optimize quality and efficiency.
• Ensure documentation, traceability, and regulatory compliance across quality functions.
• Manage customer complaints, deviations, and CAPAs; monitor trends and updates.
