Job summary

Ahlstrom Mosinee Plant in Wisconsin is seeking a Quality Co-Op for Fall 2027 (June–December) to assist the Quality & Finishing Team in achieving safety, quality, production, cost, and product development objectives for a paper machine process line.

The position pays $27.00 per hour and requires current authorization to work in the United States, and enrollment in a Paper Science or Chemical Engineering degree program.

Qualifications

• Currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
• Actively pursuing a Paper Science or Chemical Engineering degree
• Living in or willing to relocate to the Mosinee, WI area for January–August 2027
• Ability to work full-time for the duration of the position
• Strong desire to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Effective communication with people at all levels of the organization
• Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving abilities

Responsibilities

• Follow manufacturing and hygiene processes, procedures and policies to meet safety, quality, and regulatory requirements for each grade of paper
• Evaluate product improvement or cost optimization projects via trials and trial reports
• Support machine manager in leading a paper machine process line, including daily and long-term activities
