Job summary

sg360° is seeking a Quality / Continuous Improvement Engineer to improve the quality, efficiency, and performance of our operational processes and products. You will develop quality standards, implement control systems, and drive continuous improvement with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires 2+ years in quality engineering/assurance, ASQ preferred, strong analytical and project management skills, and experience with Power BI for reporting.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in Quality Engineering or Quality Assurance.
• ASQ certification preferred.
• Experience with QA software tools and systems.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and project management skills.
• Lean, ISO, CI, TPS, TPM, or Six Sigma accreditation preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; experience using Power BI for reporting, analytics and data visualization preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain quality standards and quality control systems.
• Monitor and analyze quality performance metrics to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
• Inspect and test materials, equipment, processes, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality specifications.
• Collaborate with operations managers and supervisors to implement process controls and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure workflows, processes, and products comply with safety, regulatory, and EHS requirements.
• Investigate product, process, and production issues and identify root causes.
• Develop and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Review and interpret codes, specifications, and manufacturing processes.
• Implement process improvements to maximize productivity and quality.
• Provide coaching on Lean and Continuous Improvement methodologies, including Six Sigma.
• Support new product and process implementation into production.
• Manage quality and CI projects to improve operational performance.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement.
• Perform data-driven problem solving using statistical analysis.
• Support EHS, QA, and manufacturing initiatives.
• Support tool and fixture development ensuring EHS and quality compliance.
