Fisica, Inc. in San Leandro, CA, is seeking a Quality, Continuous Improvement & Government Property Engineer to drive end-to-end product quality and ensure GFP/CAP compliance within AS9100/ISO 9001 frameworks.

The role bridges shop-floor manufacturing with defense standards, directing root-cause analysis, Lean Six Sigma projects, and government property stewardship across the GFP, CAP, and FAR/DFARS domains.

Formación

• 2-4+ years of progressive engineering experience in aerospace/defense.
• AS9100 / ISO 9001 experience.
• FAR 52.245-1 knowledge and GFP/GFE/CAP management.
• Ability to obtain Security Clearance; US citizenship required.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain compliance with AS9100/ISO 9001 and contractual quality requirements.
• Lead RCAs, CAPA, and 8D investigations.
• Plan and execute FAI per AS9102 for NPI/design changes.
• Oversee GFP/CAP government property lifecycle and audits.
• Drive 5S, Visual Management, and standard work on the shop floor.
• Track KPIs like OEE, scrap, and first pass yield.
