GridHawk LLC is seeking a Quality Auditor/Watch & Protect Technician to perform on-site quality audits of locating tickets and oversee contractors working near utility facilities. The role emphasizes accuracy of locate marks, e-sketch reviews, and thorough documentation to prevent damage to critical infrastructure.

The position requires experience in the locating industry, strong communication, and the ability to work independently in varied field conditions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2 years of locating industry experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret prints at a high level.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform Quality Audits on completed locating tickets.
• On-site audits of locate marks and accuracy checks.
• Review e-sketch documentation, billing and status codes.
• Screen capture and photo documentation review; ensure adherence to marking standards.
• Monitor excavation and protect client facilities; communicate issues to supervisor on-site.
