Job summary

Plastipak is seeking a Quality Auditor at the Jackson Center, OH site. You will audit systems and processes within our Quality program to ensure top-tier performance and compliance across production, lab, and warehouse areas.

Successful candidates will perform 12-hour night shifts (7pm–7am), carry out precise inspections, and communicate issues effectively. The role emphasizes accuracy, teamwork, and continuous improvement within a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct quality inspections of in-process product and finished plastic containers in lab, on the production floor and in the warehouse to evaluate product quality.
• Use measuring instruments to verify dimensions and performance criteria against customer specifications.
• Regularly engage with Associates about product conformance.
• Grow knowledge and skills through a wide variety of training and on-the-job experiences.

Job description

As a Plastipak Quality Auditor, you audit systems and processes as they relate to our Quality program. You play a key role in assuring the Jackson Center site achieves the highest quality performance.

Location: Jackson Center, OH

Pay Rate: $18.00/hour + $1.50 shift differential

Schedule: 3-2-2-3 rotation (3 days on, 2 off, 2 on, 3 off)

• Nights: 7pm-7am

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct quality inspections of in-process product & finished plastic containers in the lab, on the production floor & in the warehouse to evaluate product quality
• Use measuring instruments to measure dimensions & performance criteria's adherence to customer specifications
• Regularly engage with Associates about product conformance
• Grow your knowledge & skills through a wide-variety of training & on-the-job experiences

Qualifications

• Ability to work 12 hour night shift
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Attention to detail and excellent documentation skills
• Ability to effectively communicate issues and solutions in a clear and professional manner
• Ability to lift up to 15 lbs on a regular basis
