Job summary

Plastipak Packaging, Inc. in Jackson Center, Ohio is seeking a Production Shift Supervisor to oversee the night shift, ensuring smooth operations and guiding Technicians toward quality results.

You will coordinate work assignments, monitor safety, and report performance to the production manager while driving continuous improvements with Maintenance involvement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent, with a strong preference for post-secondary education.
• A minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience with solid people leadership abilities.
• A minimum of 3 years of manufacturing production or maintenance experience.
• Able to communicate in a positive and effective manner, both written & verbal.
• Previous experience using an ERP system, with a preference for SAP.
• Ability to utilize Excel to record information & compile reports.
• Mechanical aptitude, with the ability to use basic hand tools, such as wrenches, hammers, screwdrivers, etc.

Plastipak Production Shift Supervisors, are responsible for overall production operations across the site on the night shift. You assure smooth and efficient performance within and across the production floor, providing supervision, guidance & assistance to Production Technicians.

You Will

Hours

• Day Shift Hours 7am - 7:10pm; 3-2-2 rotation
