Job summary

Marvin Windows and Doors is seeking a Quality Auditor to support the Quality department by auditing windows and doors across production lines and training line associates to uphold quality standards.

The role involves implementing improvement ideas, validating changes, and providing supervisors with immediate feedback on quality issues on the line. Shift is 3rd with 11:00pm–7:00am hours and optional OT.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required; 6 months to 1 year of related experience.
• Auditing/manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.

• Assist in training production associates to ensure all products produced are of the highest quality.
• Assist in improving processes by generating new ideas or concepts.
• Maintain responsibility for keeping proper paperwork and documentation of departmental data.

Job Overview

This position is responsible for assisting the Quality department to meet and exceed company goals. The Auditor is responsible for auditing windows and doors on any of our production lines. This position will aid in training the other line associates on Quality Standards. This position will assist in the development and implementation of improvement ideas, and to assist in the validation of those changes. The Auditor is responsible for providing supervisors with immediate feedback on any Quality issues on the production line.

Hours: Sunday- Thursday 11:00pm-7:00am, OT as required

Pay: $20.49 per hour (3rd shift is eligible for $2.00/hr shift differential)

The Auditor must have the ability to alternate walking, standing for extended periods of time, sitting, climbing, bending, reaching with hands and arms, talking, hearing, carrying or lifting up to 10-50 lbs. above chest level; while in the plant/warehouse.

Education/ Training: High School Diploma/GED required- Six months to one year of related experience or training.
