Job summary

Marvin is hiring a Weekend Maintenance Technician II to service production equipment, troubleshoot issues, and perform advanced repairs with minimal supervision. You will analyze equipment performance and drive reliable operation across the plant.

The role supports safety-driven maintenance, uses EAM for work orders, and requires hands-on skills in welding, machining, and fabricating with a commitment to quality and teamwork in a union environment.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED required; technical field degree preferred.
  • Minimum of three years of related maintenance experience.
  • Ability to obtain forklift and aerial lift licenses.
  • Knowledge of Enterprise Asset Management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

  • Document repairs and preventive maintenance using the plant's work order system (EAM).
  • Inspect and repair production equipment; assist with machine repairs and train others on proper repair techniques and preventive maintenance.
  • Set up new equipment; troubleshoot using specialty tools and make decisions on effective repair methods.
  • Interpret blueprints and part drawings to perform maintenance tasks.
  • Apply basic machinist skills using a vertical mill and lathe.
  • Demonstrate understanding of welding and fabrication techniques.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Provide feedback to supervisors on maintenance status and submit end-of-shift reports.
  • Promote a culture of safety and integrity by consistently following all safety protocols.

Work Schedule

Friday - Sunday 6:00am - 6:00pm



Highlights of your role


  • Work efficiently with the work order system (EAM) to document repairs and preventive maintenance throughout the plant.

  • Perform regular inspections and repairs on production equipment; assist in machine repairs and train others on proper repair techniques and preventive maintenance practices.

  • Set up new equipment; troubleshoot using specialty tools and make decisions on effective repair methods.

  • Interpret blueprints and part drawings to perform maintenance tasks.

  • Apply basic machinist skills using a vertical mill and lathe.

  • Demonstrate understanding of welding and fabrication techniques.

  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

  • Provide feedback to supervisors on maintenance status and submit end-of-shift reports.

  • Promote a culture of safety and integrity by consistently following all safety protocols, reporting hazards, and engaging in training and initiatives.



You're a good fit if you have (or if you can)


  • High School diploma or GED required ; Associate’s degree in a related technical field strongly preferred.

  • Minimum of three years of related maintenance experience and/or technical training required .

  • Ability to obtain forklift and aerial lift platform licenses.

  • Basic welding and fabrication skills; machining experience with mill and lathe preferred.

  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Enterprise Asset Management software and the Microsoft Software Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
