Job summary

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Quality Auditor is responsible for reviewing products and materials during manufacturing to make sure they met company requirements. Their duties include measuring objects compared to their intended physical specifications, running quality test and identifying defects.

POSITION DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Reviews design specifications to understand the scope, requirements, and function of the product Conducts testing to ensure products perform according to user requirements and within established guidelines When a product does not perform within specifications, reports defects to programmers while identifying and recommending solutions, improvements, and updates Performs other duties as assigned All other duties assigned

Qualifications:

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE High School Education or equivalent Minium of three years’ experience KNOWLEDGE Basic Computer Skills Quality Experience Good communication with other departments Computer and software skills Employees’ daily tasks Equipment and the day-to-day functions

SKILLS & ABILITIES:

Organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to serve as a liaison with developers, project managers, and customer support. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office or related software.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Exposed to work in manufacturing /machining area settings with exposure to oil, coolant, and metal residues Intermittent exposure to sounds or noise levels that are distracting or uncomfortable Primarily requires sitting but at times, requires long periods of standing At times, work is completed in a manufacturing facility requiring appropriate protective equipment at all times

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
