Job summary

Levare U.S., Inc. in Tulsa, OK is seeking a Quality Assurance Inspector to audit finished products, in-process items, and incoming materials for conformance to our standards.

You will interpret blueprints, select gauge methods, calibrate inspection tools, and document nonconformances while collaborating with engineers and shop personnel to resolve quality issues and ensure accurate records and safety compliance.

Job description

Position Summary

Audit finished products, products being processed, incoming materials, parts, and assemblies, for conformance to company standards.

Job Functions/ Duties (may be assigned other duties by management)
  • Perform audits of samples and approve-reject based on conformance requirements.
  • Ensure that non-conforming material or products are documented, quarantined, and reworked or repaired, where applicable.
  • Perform testing and update related documentation, where necessary.
  • Utilize and maintain QA EHS Insight quality and safety reporting and tracking system.
  • Interpret complex blueprints, determine gauge methods, and participate in final disposition of discrepant material.
  • Monitor and evaluate the conformance of statistically controlled processes, where applicable. Assist with resolution and root cause analysis.
  • Maintain and calibrate electrical and dimensional measuring and testing equipment.
  • Skillfully and accurately use all inspection gauges and instruments, including set-up, analysis and adjusting.
  • Work directly with engineers, supervisors, and other personnel regarding various manufacturing/quality issues.
  • Maintain all quality assurance documentation.
  • Assist in the audit of standard operating instructions.
  • Able to work with service center employees (operations & inventory) to follow written process and procedures.
  • Personally observe safety and security procedures and proper use of equipment and material. Actively promote safety process and report any safety issues to proper channels for action.
Qualifications/Education Requirements
  • Proficient computer skills with knowledge of MS Office and/or company specific databases.
  • Must be able to work well with stringent deadlines and possess good organizational skills.
  • Must be familiar with ISO: 9000 requirements including quality practices and procedures.
  • Working knowledge of the Gagemaker System and related software.
  • Familiar with the operation and use of inspection measuring devices (i.e. calipers, micrometers, comparators, bore gages, electrical multimeters, meggers, etc.).
  • Must be familiar with quality practices and procedures, (i.e. sampling plans, tolerance, functional testing, and visual inspections).
  • Comfortable reading complex blueprints and customer related drawings.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1+ years of dimensional inspection in the field of quality required
Working Conditions & Physical Requirements

Normal office environment and exposure to plant environment during the course of normal job duties

Occasionally required to move about the facility

Occasional travel and On call required

Wear appropriate personal protective equipment, including eye and hearing protection, safety shoes and hard hat, where required, while in shop environment or on job site.
