Job summary

Prysmian, the world leader in solutions for energy and digital connections, seeks a Quality Auditor to support ISO 9001:2015 compliance on the Channell integration team in North Las Vegas, NV.

You'll perform quality inspections, drive corrective actions, training, and supplier quality monitoring while collaborating with manufacturing and engineering to improve processes and ensure safe, compliant operations on each shift.

Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred in a related field.
• Experience in product development and manufacturing release a plus.
• Experience in assembly operations a plus.
• Experience with Engineering Documentation released to Manufacturing a plus.
• Working knowledge of statistical techniques and tools a plus.
• Auditing and problem-solving skills a plus.
• Proficient in spreadsheets, databases and word processing.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Quality Inspections of manufacturing/assembling.
• Conduct receiving inspections of incoming goods.
• Develop training to build quality awareness throughout manufacturing.
• Provide leadership in compliance areas of internal auditing and ISO 9001:2015 documentation.
• Execute continuous improvement of QA receiving/inspection and QA floor auditing.
• Monitor and communicate supplier quality performance metrics.
• Assist supplier audits and issue recommendations/requests for corrective action.
• Assist Manufacturing Engineering in analyzing product non‑conformance, customer, and internal complaints.
• Address non‑conformance complaints by identifying a root cause with root cause correction.
• Complete other job‑related duties and special projects as assigned.
