Job summary

Deceuninck North America, LLC is seeking a Quality Auditor to support the Quality Assurance Department at our Monroe, OH facility. You will perform first article inspections, line audits, and other test requirements to ensure product quality and compliance across DNA, customers, and outside laboratories.

The role involves interacting with all levels of the organization, working on a 2-2-3 schedule (days and nights), and contributing to a culture of strong employee relations.

Qualifications

• Must be able to use calipers, optical comparator and tape measure.
• Basic computer skills including Outlook, Excel.
• Able to read blueprints and basic knowledge of GD&T.
• One to two years related experience and/or training in quality related field.

Responsibilities

• Performs profile measurements using optical comparator, calipers, Promex Scanner and gages.
• Complies and evaluates statistical data to determine and maintain quality and reliability of products.
• Follows procedures for test methods and test equipment.
• Read and understand blueprints (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) so that design intent can be distinguished.
• Performs inspections on product and equipment to insure conformance to specifications during design, process and calibration phases.
• Communicates with managers, production Supervisors, production leads and operators in an effort to assure product quality.
• Perform first article inspections, including but not limited to color checks, impact, heat/shrink tests, visual inspections and gage measurements.
• Performs Gage R & R studies to ensure test methods and equipment are adequate.
• Read control charts, histograms and various graphs and charts for analysis and communicate results.
• Evaluate software and equipment capabilities and reliabilities to determine applicability for intended purpose.
• Perform measurement system analysis (MSA) studies.
• Perform quality checks on all engineering prints and recommend needed changes.
• Administer calibration program for all assigned measurement equipment.
• Administer quality control program on incoming and outgoing goods. Communicate inspection results to affected supplier/vendor and /or customer.
