Job summary

Responsibilities

  • Review problem boxes at packing stations and communicate quantity discrepancies to appropriate team members to support timely resolution.
  • Audit combination bucket pallets, pallet stacking configurations on the dock, loaded trailers, and Zone 48 packed boxes to ensure compliance with established quality standards.
  • Document pallet shipment numbers, pallet identification numbers, trailer information, pallet configuration audit results, and any identified discrepancies in tracking spreadsheets.
  • Record audited box license plate numbers (LPNs) and any associated findings or errors.
  • Track transfer order numbers, line counts, audit percentages, delivery numbers, and audit findings using designated reporting tools.
  • Verify inventory accuracy and product quality to support operational and customer requirements.
  • Assist with root cause investigations, corrective actions, and process improvements to prevent recurring issues.
  • Support incoming and outbound shipment inspections to ensure compliance with quality and operational standards.
  • Promote a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement throughout the facility.

Job description

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

For This Role, You Will Need:
  • High school diploma, GED, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Previous warehouse, distribution, logistics, manufacturing, or related operational experience.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to follow established processes and instructions.

  • Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook.

  • Ability to read, understand, and follow company policies, procedures, and work instructions.

  • Problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Ability to safely lift up to 35 pounds, with equipment available to assist with heavier items.

  • Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout a shift of up to 8 hours.

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
  • Experience working with JD Edwards or another Warehouse Management System (WMS).

  • Previous quality assurance, quality auditing, inventory control, or related experience.

  • Experience documenting audit findings and analyzing data using spreadsheets.

  • Familiarity with warehouse shipping, receiving, and inventory processes.
