Job summary

Prysmian is seeking an Operational Quality Technician in McKinney, TX to drive quality at the source and support manufacturing operations. You will validate process inputs, audit compliance, and lead corrective actions to ensure conforming products.

You will work closely with Production, Engineering, Maintenance, and Quality teams to improve process effectiveness, perform FAI activities, and sustain continuous improvement efforts across shifts.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality systems, and process control principles.
• Experience with root cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, procedures, and technical requirements.
• Proficiency with dimensional inspection equipment and data analysis tools.
• Strong problem-solving, decision‑making, and organizational skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration across cross‑functional teams.
• High level of accountability, attention to detail, and commitment to operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Support manufacturing operations through process monitoring, verification activities, and quality-at-the-source initiatives.
• Lead and participate in shop-floor problem-solving, root cause investigations, and corrective action implementation.
• Conduct process audits and verify compliance with procedures, specifications, and manufacturing requirements.
• Support First Article Inspections (FAI), process validations, and implementation of new or revised products and processes.
• Perform dimensional and process verification measurements to confirm process capability and product conformance.
• Analyze quality data, identify risks and trends, and drive continuous improvement activities that reduce variation, scrap, and rework.
• Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Maintenance, and Quality teams to improve process effectiveness and sustain corrective actions.
