Job summary

Metropolitan Commercial Bank is seeking a Quality Assurance Temp to support a multiyear Core Banking Transformation. The role focuses on testing new applications, identifying defects, and ensuring readiness before go-live.

You will automate tests with Testim, track and report results in Jira, and help build a regression suite. Strong attention to detail and clear communication are essential to succeed in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.

Position Summary:

Metropolitan Commercial Bank is engaged in a comprehensive, multiyear technology upgrade initiative called \"Modern Banking in Motion.\" This upgrade will introduce a newbest-of-breed technology stackthat powers exceptional client experiences along with industry-leading security and risk management tools.

The Quality Assurance Temp will assist the Business Units in their testing of the new applications that are being implemented as part of the Bank's Core Banking Transformation, ensuring that any defects have been identified and that functionalities are working as expected, prior to going live.

This position will report to the VP, Digital Transformation Project Leader

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

• Collaborate with experienced quality assurance analysts to gain insights into creating and maintaining automated test scripts using Testim for web and mobile applications.
• Understand the best practices of organizing test cases, test plans, and test results in Jira, and mastering test documentation practices.
• Run automated tests, analyze results, and report defects using Jira or the vendor ticketing system to enhance your skills in detecting issues and improving software quality.
• Automate steps in Testim to build a regression automated test suite, developing proficiency in automation and user experience testing.

• Driven by a passion and curiosity to continuously learn how various technological systems, including AI, can enhance the work that you do.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills

• High school diploma with Computer Science classes or Computer Science College degree.

Potential Hourly Rate: $25/hr
