Job summary

nVent in Blaine, MN is seeking a quality assurance professional to provide QA support, lead root‑cause analysis, and drive improvements across products and manufacturing processes. You will perform process validations, in‑process inspections, data collection and analysis, product reviews, and help maintain QMS/ISO compliance.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, reading schematics/blueprints, GD&T knowledge a plus, and 2+ years in quality/manufacturing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to read schematics, blueprints and process documents.
• GD&T knowledge is a plus.
• 2+ years working in quality/manufacturing field.
• Knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS) preferred.
• Able to interpret order requirements and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Provide QA support and lead root cause problem solving to improve quality and customer satisfaction.
• Lead problem solving for product and manufacturing processes.
• Perform process validations, in-process inspections, and monitoring.
• Support data collection, analysis, product reviews, and process capabilities.
• Adhere to QMS standards and train personnel on them.
• Perform internal ISO audits and provide audit support.
• Maintain calibration status of inspection, test, and measurement equipment.
