Leggett & Platt is seeking a Quality Assurance Coordinator to implement and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) and ensure customer expectations are met efficiently. This hourly, non-exempt role focuses on compliance, documentation, and continual improvement across production processes.

You will log customer complaints, support CAPA programs, and train staff on QMS procedures, aiming to sustain GMP compliance and measurable cost reductions while fostering a safe, organized work

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required, or equivalent.
• Minimum 6 months manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions.

Responsabilités

• Establish, implement, and continually improve the QMS.
• Maintain records for internal quality audits and CAR/PAR programs.
• Log and track customer complaints and coordinate corrective actions.
• Monitor product compliance to customer requirements daily.
• Develop and approve procedures and work instructions.
• Conduct or assist with training on QMS topics.
• Communicate the quality policy across the facility.
• Support Kaizen projects and continuous improvement.
• Ensure GMP compliance with industry regulations.
