Job summary

Leggett & Platt in Fort Smith, AR is seeking a Quality Assurance professional to implement and maintain our Quality Management System (QMS) and ensure customer expectations are met efficiently.

You will log quality data, track internal audits, and help drive Kaizen improvements across production. Ideal candidates have a HS diploma/GED and at least 6 months of manufacturing experience.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High School diploma or GED required; manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establish, implement, maintain the QMS and continually improve its effectiveness.
• Maintain records for internal quality audits, CAR/PAR program, and management review.
• Log and track all customer complaints and communicate status of corrective actions.
• Monitor product compliance to customer requirements to meet daily duties.
• Develop and facilitate approval of procedures and other documentation to support the management system.
• Conduct or assist with training on customer/QMS topics.
• Conform to all Quality/Safety requirements and maintain housekeeping.
