Job summary

Snelling Staffing Services is seeking a dependable Quality Assurance Technician to join our manufacturing team. You will inspect incoming materials, in-process and finished products, verify specifications, and document results to ensure adherence to customer requirements.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of manufacturing experience, strong math and computer skills, the ability to read blueprints and GD&T, and a safety-focused, team-oriented mindset.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 2–3 years of manufacturing experience; metal fabrication experience preferred.
• Strong math skills including fractions, decimals, geometry and trig.
• Proficient with Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Ability to read blueprints and GD&T requirements.
• Experience using precision measuring equipment.
• Good communication, analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming, in-process, and finished materials against specs and requirements.
• Identify and contain nonconforming material; verify corrective actions are effective.
• Prepare PPAP/ISIR documentation for new products and changes.
• Audit processes for compliance with procedures and customer requirements.
• Maintain calibration and support process capability and Gage R&R studies.
• Drive root-cause problem-solving across production, suppliers, and customers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
