Job summary

Heartland Coca-Cola Bottling Company, LLC in Abilene, TX seeks a Quality Assurance Technician to conduct tests on beverages, syrups, and raw materials. You will analyze product attributes and perform audits across packaging lines, ensuring compliance with standards and safety data sheets.

Responsibilities include testing CO2 and materials, maintaining cleanliness, and preventing contamination in a high-speed production environment. Strong reading of MSDS and equipment operation are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree in physical science and/or food industry experience preferred.
• 1-3 years of general work experience required.
• Prior food production operation experience preferred.
• Previous high-speed industrial environment experience preferred.
• Ability to read and understand MSDS, operate manufacturing equipment; knowledge of industrial technology is a plus.

• Audit container rinsers, air blowers, filters, and coders to ensure proper operations.

• Maintain highest possible housekeeping standards to prevent microbial contamination.

Compensation: Starting pay ranges from $21.01 to $26.06 per hour, based on experience. Additional earning opportunities may include performance-based incentives, quarterly bonuses, referral bonuses, and comprehensive benefits.
